Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive in Jodhpur – Mehrangarh Fort
Pickup from Jodhpur airport or railway station. Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the Clock Tower market. Overnight in Jodhpur.
- Day 2: Jodhpur → Jaisalmer (about 285 km)
Drive across the Thar to Jaisalmer (about 5 hrs). Evening at Gadisar Lake. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
- Day 3: Jaisalmer Fort → Sam dunes desert camp
Jaisalmer Fort and its Jain temples, Patwon ki Haveli, then the abandoned village of Kuldhara. Sunset camel safari on the Sam dunes, folk music and dinner. Overnight in a desert camp.
- Day 4: Desert sunrise – departure
Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast. Drop at Jaisalmer railway station or airport, or drive back to Jodhpur.
