Day-wise Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Delhi – sightseeing

    Pickup in Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Overnight in Delhi.

  2. Day 2: Delhi β†’ Agra

    Drive to Agra (about 3.5–4 hrs). Visit Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah, with sunset at Mehtab Bagh facing the Taj. Overnight in Agra.

  3. Day 3: Taj Mahal sunrise β†’ Fatehpur Sikri β†’ Ranthambore

    Taj Mahal at sunrise (closed on Fridays – we plan around it). Visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Sawai Madhopur (about 5–6 hrs in total). Overnight at a jungle resort near Ranthambore.

  4. Day 4: Ranthambore – two safaris

    Morning and afternoon safaris in Ranthambore National Park (jeep or canter, as per permit availability). Between safaris, visit Ranthambore Fort and the Trinetra Ganesh temple. Overnight at the resort.

  5. Day 5: Ranthambore β†’ Jaipur (about 160 km)

    Drive to Jaipur and check in. Evening at Birla Mandir and the illuminated Albert Hall. Overnight in Jaipur.

  6. Day 6: Jaipur sightseeing

    Amer Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, with sunset at Nahargarh. Overnight in Jaipur.

  7. Day 7: Jaipur β†’ Delhi or departure

    Morning shopping in the bazaars. Drop at Jaipur airport or railway station, or drive back to Delhi (about 280 km).

When is Ranthambore closed?

The core safari zones usually close for the monsoon from July to September. Plan this tour between October and June.

Is a tiger sighting guaranteed?

No – wildlife can't be guaranteed – but two safaris in Ranthambore give you a good chance.
