A desert road trip that starts in Delhi. Drive into Shekhawati for Mandawa's painted havelis, on to Bikaner's Junagarh Fort and the Karni Mata temple, and finish in Jaisalmer with its golden fort and a night at the Sam dunes. Ends in Jaisalmer, with easy train or flight connections home.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Day 1: Delhi → Mandawa (about 260 km)
Pickup in Delhi and drive to Mandawa (about 5–6 hrs). Afternoon walk among the frescoed havelis. Overnight in a heritage hotel in Mandawa.
- Day 2: Mandawa → Bikaner (about 190 km)
Morning in Mandawa, then drive to Bikaner. Evening at the Rampuria havelis in the old city. Overnight in Bikaner.
- Day 3: Bikaner sightseeing
Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace and the camel research farm; afternoon trip to the Karni Mata temple at Deshnoke. Overnight in Bikaner.
- Day 4: Bikaner → Jaisalmer (about 330 km)
Drive across the desert to Jaisalmer. Sunset at Gadisar Lake. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
- Day 5: Jaisalmer Fort → Sam dunes desert camp
Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli and Kuldhara. Sunset camel safari, folk music and dinner at the Sam dunes. Overnight in a desert camp.
- Day 6: Departure from Jaisalmer
Desert sunrise and breakfast. Drop at Jaisalmer railway station or airport for your journey back.
