Climb 400+ steps to the peaceful Chulgiri (Shri Parshvanath) Jain temple on a hill above Ghat ki Guni, about 16 km from the city on the Agra Road. The hilltop is calm and spotless, with sweeping views over the Aravallis and the eastern edge of Jaipur. A gentle, steady trek that's perfect for a sunrise outing.

Day-wise Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Sunrise climb to Chulgiri
    Meet at the base of the Chulgiri steps off Agra Road (exact point shared on booking). Climb the 400+ steps at an easy pace, visit the temple quietly (footwear off, modest clothes – the temple is open roughly 6 am to 6 pm) and enjoy the views. Walk down for Maggi, tea and light snacks. Total time: about 2–3 hours.

How many steps are there at Chulgiri?

A little over 400 steps. Most people reach the top in 30–45 minutes.

Are there rules at Chulgiri temple?

Yes. Remove footwear in the temple area, dress modestly, keep silence inside and don't carry non-vegetarian food.

Is transport to the start point included?

No. Trekkers reach the meeting point on their own (scooty, cab or auto). If you need a pickup, tell us while booking and we'll add a cab at extra cost.

Can we book the trek on our own date?
